Intel, AWS, and Megh Computing collaborate to deploy private 4G network with video analytics in California school district

Intel and AWS have partnered with Megh Computing—the company behind VAS, a real-time, AI-based video analytics solution—to deploy a 4G Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS) private network to part of Sacramento, California. The network’s aim is to provide high-speed connectivity to students and teachers for remote schooling, and edge compute capabilities for video analytics applications to promote safety zones in schools. The network will serve as a template for additional networks for other school districts and college campuses in the California state university system over the next two years.
